R.I.P Whitney Houston
Given that Whitney‘s life was a hot mess the last 6 or 7 years, the news of her passing didn’t really hit me like it did some others. I sighed, uttered a quiet,”no, shit?” and then fell into a daydream of “I wanna dance with somebody” where Whitney and I are wearing matching orange blazers with huge shoulder pads…mmmm, shoulder pads.
What has been surprising, though, is the incredible covers/tributes that have come out since the weekend…some from pretty surprising sources.
This cover of I Will Always Love You by the Girls is definitely one that has stood out.
