Gardens & Villa Are About to Blow Up…

No More Small Venues & $10 Tickets For Us...

Shhhhh….I’m going to tell you a secret. Gardens & Villa have been a staple around the Flowerhouse since B and I saw them at the Sail Inn last summer. It was the final show of their tour and they played a killer set outside while lightning struck all around us. On that night, they were the third band in on a card of mostly local Phoenix bands…shocking really given that they easily stole the show. All told, it was a pretty incredible night that not even the dancing Manson girls up front could spoil.

Well, it seems that Santa Barbara’s own, G & V will be heading out this week on a major U.S. tour supporting a band you might have heard of before, the Shins. If the idea of a seeing both Gardens & Villa as well as the Shins together in one night doesn’t blow your mind, they will also be playing several festivals including SXSW, Coachella, and Sasquatch! (it should be mentioned that Sasquatch! is in my dearly missed, home state of Washington)

If all of the above doesn’t convince you that 2012 will indeed be the year of Black Hills, Star Fire Power and Orange Blossoms, take a listen below and decide for yourself.
