Upcoming Shows
With the year coming to a close, finding good shows here in Phoenix is becoming increasingly difficult. That said, Brandon and I are looking forward to the new year and the return of national acts to the valley of the sun. These are the shows that we can’t wait to see.
January
10th Starfucker – One of my favorite Portland bands and great live. This will be the first time I’ve seen them outside of the Northwest.
One of my favorite songs…
12th Cass McCombs – Signed to the legendary U.K. label 4AD, Cass’ County Line was a Brandon pick for the week 6 podcast.
18th Handsome Furs – The real appeal for us is the opening band, Papa which features Darren Weis of Girls fame.
21st Wilco – Floor seats (!!) in Frank Lloyd Wright’s Gammage building. Two words…can’t wait.

1st Zola Jesus
6th Dr. Dog
27th Grimes – We missed her the first time she came through but this show should more than make up for it. We still can’t believe that this show is going to be at the Rhythm Room.
28th Cloud Nothings – This should be an awesome show!
